Wendi DuBois
“Support for those who carry more than most-
and for the families who carry it with them.”
‘
As a trauma-informed, faith-integrated, relational specialist, I support men and women (ages 10+), who are navigating unresolved pain, trauma exposure, high stress roles, and emotional conflict that has disrupt safety, identity, or connection.
Through a nervous system-informed and faith integrated approach, I help clients build emotional regulation, restore relational safety, and move toward healing.
Areas of support include medical trauma, chronic stress, grief, relational wounds, occupational exposure, natural disasters, and ongoing family conflict-experiences that often impact emotional regulation, nervous system stability, and relationships.
A central focus of my work is supporting first responders, military personnel, and their families. With a background as a first responder, I understand the unspoken pressures of the job, cumulative trauma exposure, and the weight these experiences bring into the home. Many hesitate to seek help due to fear of judgment, misunderstanding, or professional consequences. I provide a confidential, respectful space where individuals can process their experiences openly and feel genuinely understood.
I also support spouses and children in understanding emotional shifts within the family system, helping them communicate safely and strengthen connection that feels lost.
While first responders and military families hold a special place in this ministry, trauma is not limited to one profession. I work with individuals, couples, parents, teens, and tweens navigating emotional pain, relational disconnection, anxiety, shutdown, and spiritual struggle. Many parents arrive feeling overwhelmed and unsure how to support their child or restore peace in their home.
My role is to guide individuals and families toward understanding, connection, nervous-system safety and lasting healing.

Disability & Education Advocate
I draw from years of advocating for children with special needs , including the autism spectrum. I have personal and professional knowledge having raised my own into successful, independent adults. With 1 in 32 now born on the spectrum it doesn't have to be scary anymore, you have an ally and supporter in me.
I work closely with parents to help them better understand how to navigate the obstacles ahead, and mitigate situations that can make you feel helpless and alone.
I have taught teachers to better understand high-functioning autism in the classroom, served on the Student Health Action Coalition, and actively participated in ARD and 504 meetings to ensure families' rights are upheld. I have also acted as a surrogate parent for children in state care, making educational decisions that protect their opportunities. These experiences allow me to bring both personal insight and professional dedication to the individuals and families I now serve.
Crisis Incident Stress Debriefing & Advocacy
I support first responders and communities by helping them process trauma, build resilience, and find hope after critical incidents. With experience investigating child abuse in high profile media cases, fatalities, and sex trafficking, I provide compassionate guidance so no one faces life's hardest moments alone. I have been honored to partner with public officials in leading crisis incident stress debriefings during major tragedies, including the Uvalde school shootings and the Texas Floods. These experiences allow me to walk alongside those on the front lines, ensuring they have a safe place to get their feelings heard, and receive the care, clarity, and support needed for recovery and strength.
